Abstract guidelines
The abstracts shall be submitted in English or Russian, as .rtf files.
The lengths of the text body is up to 2000 characters (spaces included); the abstract also may include up to 2 figures, 1 table and list of references (table contents, references and titles of figures and tables are not included in the character count).
The abstract shall contain: the title (centred, in capital letters), author initials and family name, affiliation, including the mailing address and the author's e-mail, text body, list of references (up to 5).
Decimals shall be dot-separated, taxanomic units are marked in italics, the authors of the taxanomic units are not marked.
Tables and figures with their titles shall be inserted to the text body; in addition, figures shall be enclosed to the submission as .jpg files with picture resolution at least 300 dpi; the file names of the figures shall correspond to figure numbers (e.g. Figure1.jpg); all the lines shall be at least 2 pixels-wide; complex formulas shall be drawn in MS Equation.
Abbreviations shall be avoided, except regular ones; if necessary to use, the abbreviations shall be explained once first mentioned; the International System of Units (SI) shall be applied throughout.
The list of reference shall alphabetised, first titles in Cyrillic, and then in Latin (if applicable);
book references shall include author names (family names, then the initials), book title, sit of the publisher, the publisher, publishing year, total number of pages in the book;
references to paper volumes or conference proceedings include author names (family names, then the initials), paper or abstract title, volume or conference title, sit of the publisher, the publisher, publishing year, pages of the paper or the abstract;
references to journal papers and other periodicals contain author names (family names, then the initials), paper title, year, volume and issue numbers, pages of the paper.
References in the text body are inserted in round brackets and include the author's family name (or the first author's family name followed by et al) and the year of publication.
